Introduced in 1986 by National Instruments, the Lab-VIEW software has constantly evolved. To-day there is no application environment where LabVIEW isn’t used. Moreover, the mass of LabVIEW supporters is continuously growing: the engineers, scientists, students or teachers that are using National Instruments’ software have reached thousands of units worldwide. And also Italy is doing well, thanks to many devoted people that have reached – at User Forum level – about one thousand.
It was therefore necessary an editorial initiative that could make the exchange of ideas easier, that could allow to know the news of LabVIEW universe, that could introduce and diffuse the most interesting applications and that could teach the fundamentals of graphical programming to the unskilled users and the use of more advanced functions to the experts.
The answer is the new LabVIEW World magazine, fully dedicated to LabVIEW and to everybody that uses Lab-VIEW and its library of modules and functions for different purposes and with a different skill.
